Hey Alexa, write this post for me
We’re two weeks into February and 2019 feels like we’ve been at it for 16 months already. Is it just me or was January the longest month ever..?
Well aside from my 2019 starting off like rogue firecrackers, I DID get to camera test one of the most amazing cameras on the planet: The ARRI Alexa LF !!!! And let me just tell you, it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. This camera has seen the likes of A-list celebrities in its lens and yours truly got to be the apple of its beautiful eye for a short film shot by the one and only Emmy award winning director of photography, Eric Girgash, and of course my favorite director and human of all time, THEE David James. And to my awesome costars, Patrick Taft and Victoria McDevitt, this film was just hands down the bees knees.
We used zero lighting kits or setups or lights period. Just the actors and the camera. Watch this short and admire its brilliance. Because I’m still mindblown by it. Hey Alexa, start the film:
